After Zaira Wasim deletes her social media accounts, fans trend 'Stand With Zaira' to back her up
Social media is a place that has to be used very cautiously. Sometimes, what a person is saying can be taken in an altogether different way. One has to be careful with what they write and choose to share on social media. Celebs become an easy target for hate when a post from them doesn't go down well with netizens. A similar thing happened with Zaira Wasim. On Thursday, Zaira deleted her social media accounts after she received backlash for one of her posts. But now, her fans are backing her up on Twitter.
It so happened that Zaira took to Twitter and shared her thoughts about the locust attack in India. For the same, she chose to quote a verse from the Quran. "So We sent upon them the flood and locusts and lice and frogs and blood: Signs openly self explained: but they were steeped in arrogance- a people given to sin” -Qur’an 7:133,” read her post. But the same didn't go down well with netizens and they started trolling her and which ultimately made her deleted her accounts.
Now, Twitter is flooded with #StandWithZaira tweets in support of her. One user wrote, " Brave girl @ZairaWasimmm Don't worry we all with you,and insha allah every time you got all peacefull people around you-! #StandWithZaira."

Many even demanded her to return to Bollywood. For the uninitiated, it was in 2019, when taking to social media, Zaira announced that she is leaving the entertainment industry. In her extended post, she said that though she might fit in here, she doesn't belong here.
Zaira has worked in movies like Dangal, Secret Superstar and The Sky Is Pink. Her acting was appreciated and loved in all the films and her decision to quit Bollywood had left many heartbroken.
