lavanya tripathi had decided to shred her girl-next-door image off-screen and on-screen. The actress who did some skin show in Sharwanand's Radha and also appeared in a dazzling black dress that showed off her assets at an award show before the pandemic situation.

The actress who was known for her girl-next-door image had decided to opt for the glam show going further as she feels that the girl-next-door image is not helping her to get the much-needed star status despite being part of several hits like Nani's bhale bhale magadivoy and Nagarjuna's Soggade Chinni Nayana.

The actress currently has a tamil film, 'Mayavi Nee' which will see the light very soon. 'Mayavi Nee' which has Young Hero in the lead role will also be dubbed into telugu as Manthira.

She is also shooting for a kannada film, The Villain which will mark her debut into kannada Film Industry. The actress had been busy with 'Mudra' for a long time which again happened to be a remake.

This time around she surprised by choosing the remake of another tamilmovie which itself was an average outing at the box office, and the remake is also helmed by the sameone who made the original.
