Nayantara gets Superstar title

Director Vignesh Shivn who's known for directing movies like Poda Podi, Naanum Rowdy thaan has launched his own production house which he has named as Rowdy Pictures. 

The maiden production venture from his Rowdy Pictures banner has been titled as Netrikann after the classic k balachandermovie that starred superstar rajinikanth in dual roles besides lakshmi, saritha and Menaka.

Starring Nayanthara, Netrikann is touted to be a thriller which will be directed by siddharth and andrea jeremiah starrer Aval fame Milind Rau and the movie has started shooting in chennai with a formal pooja ceremony.

Nayanthara, the lady superstar is on cloud nine as her last release, the Thala ajith starrer Viswasam was a humongous blockbuster and following that she was seen in the horror drama Airaa where she plays a double role. But, that failed. Next, she has signed yet another female-centric movie which will have her as the solo heroine and this movie will be bankrolled by the manager of Sandalwood hero Puneeth Rajkumar, named as Kumar, and directed by C Velmathi who had earlier directed Andaava Kaanom. The actress prefers movies which will focus only on her and without any male lead.
