Kiran Rathore recalls bikini shot for Winner: 'Makers took 6 months to convince me'

Kiran Rathore is one of the trending actresses on Instagram in the ongoing lockdown period. She has been flooding her Instagram handle with a lot of throwback pictures and interesting memories from the past. In her recent Instagram post, she has spoken about how hard it was for her to accept the bikini costume for one of the songs in the film Winner. Her caption described her concerns about her body weight at that time.

"My first and the last attempt of trying a bikini shot ... the makers took 6 months to convince me wearing a two piece ..but still had lot of questions toin in my head while wearing this .. not coz of having an issue wearing it but was quite apprehensive regarding my weight at that time of the shoot... but song and the film became a hit .. and I know I disappointed many fans giving such shots .. but all wells when ends well .. in fact will be doin this again with a more perfect summer body #winner#tamil#movie#daretobare #thinkoutofthebox (sic)" wrote Kiran Rathore.

Winner is the 2003 action comedy film directed by commercial maverick Sundar C and it became the biggest blockbuster of the year. The film also gave a big break to actor Prasanth and built a great fan base for Kiran Rathore for her stunning looks in the film.

One of the major highlights of the film was Vadivelu’s trademark comedy performance. The character Kaipulla played by Vadivelu still gives the Tamil cinema family audience plenty of laughs.
